Have a retablo made for you or a loved one


Retablos and ex-votos (votive offerings) are  folk art paintings that you commission to commemorate the most meaningful
events and memories in your life.  Births, marriages, life changing experiences, deaths, and spiritual awakenings are the
occasions for having an artist create a retablo for you or someone you love.  They are simple direct expressions of gratitude,
humility and celebration. The tradition, which is now very strong in Mexico,  dates back at least five hundred years in Italy and Spain.
